Gaana Music Festival: Armaan and Amaal to perform together for the first time in the US

MUMBAI: The sensational brothers Armaan Malik and Amaal Mallik, who are known to create magic, every time they come together, will be teaming up for the first time at the Gaana Music Festival. The mega-music carnival is the first ever Bollywood music festival, happening in the US on 19 and 20 May 2018.

Speaking about his and Amaal’s upcoming performance at the festival, Armaan said, “It is for the first time that I and Amaal will be performing together in California, USA. The audience there hasn’t seen us performing together live ever. ”

We will not only be performing on our hit songs like Bol Do Na Zara, Hero etc. but also have some surprises in store. I would say that we both will set the stage on fire,” added the Kuch Anokhe Rules singer.

Further, commenting on the Gaana Music Festival, the 22-year-old singing sensation, who recently became the first Indian singer to collaborate with social music platform Smule said, “Many music festivals like the Coachella Music Festival etc. are held in the UK and the US. But, it is for the first time a Bollywood music festival with a two-day line-up will be held at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in the USA in the form of the Gaana Music Festival. It is a kind of music festival that has never happened. Just being there and performing on the occasion that has some great singers like Sonu Nigamji, who is my idol, is itself a great feeling.”

Meanwhile, Gaana Music Festival has an exciting line-up of some big names from the Indian music industry apart from the Malik brothers. The two-day fest will have performances by Mika Singh, Arijit Singh, Bollywood actor and singer Ayushmann Khurrana, Gippy Grewal, Benny Dayal, Kakar sisters Akriti, Sukriti and Prakriti, veteran singer Usha Uthup and the dashing Baby Doll singer Kanika Kapoor.

Armaan and Amaal will be performing on 19 May 2018. Armaan also shared a video of his just before the Gaana Music Festival.
