Live From The Console's upcoming edition introduces new independent artistes

MUMBAI: Live From The Console (LFTC), known to have featured artistes and bands like The Supersonics, Spud In The Box, Your Chin and many more, is set to liven up the stage again. In its upcoming edition, LFTC will cater to indie fans in Mumbai. It will feature several different genres including Electro-Organic, Garage/ Dance and Folk-Alternative Pop.

The line-up includes Sasha Chettri, Sohrab Nicholson and Mosko. The event, which will be held on Saturday 7 June 2014, will kick off with LCD Soundsystem's documentary ‘Shut Up and Play the Hits', which is based on their final performance at Madison Square Garden.

It will be followed by a performance by Dehradun Folk/Alt Pop artiste Sasha Chettri. The multi-talented singer/songwriter is also a composer and her music is influenced by various genres and includes Sufi, Punk Rock, Jazz, and Pahadi folk.

Mumbai based Sohrab Nicholson will take the stage next. The keyboardist and singer/songwriter blends electronic and organic sounds in his composition. Nicholson aims to create a new kind of music with a little help from electronic duo Dirty Jays, and Producer/Drummer Rohan Ramanna.

Closing the evening will be Mosko, a Grunge/ Dance duo which comprises Kavya Trehan and Moses Koul. Their music is a mix of posh, groove laden electronica and smooth acoustic jams.

Live From the Console will be held at Mehboob Studio, Bandra, Mumbai. The event starts at 6 pm and tickets are priced at Rs 250 per person.
