Tulsi Kumar talks about her song 'Phacebook Pyar'

MUMBAI: For Tulsi Kumar, the year commenced with a high note with 'Baarish' bagging positive responses. The 'Tum Jo Aye' singer has now rendered her vocals for the song 'Phacebook Pyar' from the upcoming film ‘Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi’. The music of the film has been composed by Euphoria frontman Palash Sen.

Talking about the same Kumar said to Radioandmusic.com, "This song is a little different from what I usually sing and is a fast number. I generally sing soft romantic songs."

Commenting on the brief given to her by the composer she said, "This song needs a Bhojpuri accent and it needed a little acting from my voice. For instance, the song ends with my laughter, and luckily it went well. Palash told me that as soon as he composed the song, he thought of me."

Kumar has also teamed up with Sen for his upcoming album.

The songstress is currently concentrating on her live shows. "Initially my family was not comfortable with me performing for live shows. But now they are fine now, this is one of the reasons that I have been trying my hands at other genres of music," she exclaimed.

Kumar was recently seen performing at Bollyland with DJ Chetash and is looking forward for performing more. "I am not performing at weddings, or private functions and I have my preferences for performing live," she concluded.
