Himesh Reshammiya "challenges" anyone who dislikes music of 'Xpose'

MUMBAI: Himesh Reshammiya has been juggling the role of an actor and a music composer for his film 'Xpose' .The music of the film has already been a chartbuster, particularly the song 'Dard Dilo Ke', sung by Mohammed Irfan is receiving a lot of good responses.

Generally, Reshammiya prefer to sing his own tracks when he has a lead role in a film, but this time he teamed up with Irfan. When quizzed by Radioandmusic.com about the reason for getting Irfan on board, he said, "As a composer, the variety of melodies belted out by me demanded the same. On screen I am an actor and I felt Irfan's voice suited the character onscreen. Thus I thought it would be great working with him once again."

Prior to this, Reshammiya and Irfan have worked together on the film 'Oh My God'.

When asked if composing had taken a backset while juggling the roles of an actor and a director, he said, "Anyone who thinks that the music of 'Xpose' is bad, he or she is a fool. Considering the charts, rankings and the positive reviews that the music has got, I would disagree with the people who say so. I would love to challenge the people who say so. 'Dard Dilo Ke' has become a huge hit. "

The film 'Xpose' is slated to hit the theaters on 16 May, 2014.
