Post producing movies like ‘Yaariyan’, ‘Bhootnath Returns’ and ‘Aashiqui 2’, T Series will be releasing the much awaited movie of 2015 ‘Roy’. The cast includes Ranbir Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal, and is directed by Vikramjit Singh. A few songs from the film are already topping the charts. The album comprises seven tracks including an unplugged song and a remix. brings to you the music review of the album ‘Roy’.

Sooraj Dooba Hai Yaaro:

Composed by Amaal Mallik the song ‘Sooraj Dooba Hai Yaaro’ was the first song to b released from the album. The song is peppy and the upbeat vocals by Arijit Singh and Aditi Singh Sharma will make you want to listen to the song once again. The lyrics of the song are penned by Kumaar.

Tu Hai Ki Nahi:

Sung and composed by Ankit Tiwari, this track gets full marks in delivering a melancholic melody. Penned by Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay, the track is written beautifully and Tiwari once again is exceptional with his vocals. Unlike his other compositions that start with his signature tune, ‘Tu Hai Ki Nahi’ starts with a whistle.

Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan

The ‘Baby Doll’ team is back with the song ‘Chittiyan Kalaiyaan’. Composed by Meet Brothers and Anjjan, sung by Kanika Kapoor and penned by Kumaar, the song is a love track. ‘Chittiyan Kalaiyaan’ resembles ‘Baby Doll’, and is easy on the ears.

Boond Boond:

The song ‘Boond Boond’ is yet another slow number, which has an amazing melody and starts in a standard Tiwari fashion. The song beautifully exemplifies sensuousness and is sung and composed by Tiwari. Full marks to Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay for the lyrics.

Yaara Re:

KK, who is currently keeping it low in terms of Bollywood projects, is back with ‘Yaara Re’ and does complete justice to it. His vocals alone are reason enough to listen to the song on repeat. The song is composed by Tiwari and is written by Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay.

Overall, the music of film is amazing. Only time will tell if the movie receives similar responses.  'Roy' is all set to hit theaters on 13th February, 2015.
