After 'Mirzya' Daler Mehndi croons title track of 'Dangal'

MUMBAI: Singer Daler Mehndi has confirmed that he has crooned the title track for Aamir Khan’s upcoming biopic 'Dangal'.

The 49-year-old singer confirmed the news through his Facebook account.

Daler Mehndi has been roped in to sing the title track of 'Dangal' film and the singer is quite happy to be part of this biopic.

Mehndi said that the song lyrics will be energetic and motivated all the way.

The 'Bolo Tara Ra Ra' singer has previously sung the title track for Aamir-starrer 'Rang De Basanti' (2006) directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Mehndi has recently collaborated with the same filmmaker for the title track of his upcoming venture 'Mirzya'.

Dangal film story throws light on the life of real-life wrestler Mahavir Singh Phagot and his daughters. Nitesh Tiwari is the director of this emotional sports based action entertainer while Pritam has composed the music.
