Over one lakh registrations and counting for Hardwell's charity project 'United We Are Foundation'

MUMBAI: Almost three months after announcing his plan to perform in India for 'United We Are Foundation', around 1,25,000 fans have already registered to attend the event.

The number of registrations has surpassed the estimated figure for the world record, but fans can still register for the live performance till 30th September, 2015.

The free event allows fans entrance on first-cum-first-serve basis, but registration is essential to be eligible for the bookings, which will be open for few hours on a pre-determined date. One lakh lucky fans will be able to attend the event in one of the biggest stadiums. The event is primarily a charity project that focuses on providing better education to children all over the globe.

However, the overwhelming reaction has not surprised Hardwell at all. The DJ/producer considers India a perfect venue for dance music, considering how the scene has grown in recent years. Kick starting his campaign from the country will make the DJ the first artist to break the record for ‘World’s Biggest Guest List’. Hardwell launched the project alongside the Anna Agency called the United We Are Foundation.

Hardwell said, “India is without doubt one of the hottest countries in the world right now for dance music. No one has more hunger and passion for dance music than Indian crowds.”

Percept Limited JMD Shailendra Singh said, “The Indian fans are just incredible. When Hardwell, Anna Knaup and I came together to make this event a reality, we knew we were on to something special. Dance music is able to unite the world for a cause, and I am just so proud that the fire is starting right here in India.”
