Suresh Raina croons for 'Meeruthiya Gangsters'

MUMBAI: He is someone who swapped his bat with the mic. Cricketer Suresh Raina, who usually positions himself in the cricket ground, will now be seen in the recording studio to dub the song ‘Tu Mili Sab Mila Aur Kya Mangu Main’ for the movie ‘Meeruthiya Gangsters’.

The music of the film will be composed by Siddhant Madhav for Zeishan Quadri.

Confirming the news, the left-hander said that he is in Mumbai to record the song for the film. The producer of the film - Shoeb Ahmed, is his family friend who insisted that he sing for his film.Rainasaid, “I love old Hindi songs and immediately came on board for this melodious track. We will be improvising the music as we record since I am doing this for the first time.”

The recording is scheduled for 6 September, 2015 in Mumbai.

An ardent fan of Kishore Kumar, Raina has always loved singing. What’s more, his brother Naresh is known for crooning devotional Sai Baba bhajans.

The film ‘Meeruthiya Gangsters’ is slated to release on 18September, 2015. Prior to this, Rainawas spotted promoting the film, which belongs to the crime-comedy genre.
