MUMBAI: Coldplay has signed a huge publishing deal with Universal Music for future songwriting, which is one of the biggest in music industry history, media reports. The band, consisting of frontman Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion agreed their first contract in 1999 with BMG Music Publishing, before releasing first album Parachutes. Now, with their fifth record due next year, they have penned fresh terms with Universal Music Publishing - who bought out the outfit.

MUMBAI: Spanish music sensation Enrique Iglesias will perform at a concert 'Enrique Live' at Emmarentia Botanical Gardens on 9 September, an event which will inaugurate the Airtel Champions League Twenty20 that gets underway a day later at the Wanderers Stadium. Talking about his upcoming projects, Jalota said, I am coming up with a set of eight Bhajans which are duets sung by me and Nandita Basu. The audio of the album will be on EMI music...
