MUMBAI: Acer Inc., the Taiwanese multinational hardware and Electronics Corporation has launched a new Android 4.4 KitKat based tablet – Iconia A1-713 in India. The device is priced at Rs. 12, 999.

The Iconia A1-713 tablet features 7-inch display with 1024x600 pixel resolution. The device is powered with a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT8382 mobile chipset, paired with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB on-board storage. At the rear, the tablet has a 2 megapixel camera while there is a 0.3 megapixel VGA camera in its front. The new Acer Iconia A1-713 tablet also features 3G network support and has anodised silver finish.

Although the device is currently operated by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version, Acer promises that the tablet will be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat in future. For faster downloads and mobile internet, the tablet offers WiFi support, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS. Acer has packed a 3400 mAh battery inside this tablet. The Iconia A1-713 comes in Silver colour option.
