9X Tashan video garners over 86,000 views in less than 48 hours

MUMBAI: Republic Day is almost here and radio stations and TV channels are doing their bit to commemorate the day. Instead of simply playing videos, music channel 9X Tashan has come up with its very own video, ‘Love India' featuring Ammy Virk, Ranjit Bajwa and Jasneh. In less than 48 hours the video garnered 86,000 views on Youtube.

The video starts off with a boy going down on his knee to propose to a girl. During their conversation, a school girl approaches the couple and tries talking to the girl about the national flag. But the girl consciously ignores the flag and tries to shoo away the child. At this point Ammy Virk is heard saying, "Jo desh se pyaar nahi karta who kise se pyar nahi kar sakta."

The video is scripted and directed by 9X Tashan's programming head, Baljinder S Mahant. Talking to Radioandmusic.com about the core motive of the video, Mahant said, "We kept in mind the youth while creating this video since they are the ones who will go on to handle the reins of the country. The youth in India has actually forgotten the importance of freedom and they do not know thousands of them have shed their blood for the same. If our message reaches out to even 10 per cent of the youngsters, we will be happy."
