In order to achieve this, Viacom 18 Live, MTV, T-series and Cineyug have joined hands to organise a Bollywood dance music festival- Indie Groove which is a blend of DJ’s mixing along with Bollywood singers performing.

The event will witness a stalwarts DJ’s like DJ Aqeel, Chetas, NYK, Khushi and many others from India who will be mixing music with Bollywood singers like Mika Singh, YoYo Honey Singh, Hard Kaur, Benny Dayal, Shalmali Kholgade, Neeti Mohan, Shibani Kashyap and so on will be performing live. There will be a slot for Sufi Music as well. The live gig will take place on 9-10 November in Delhi.

As per sources, there are talks on with Shahrukh Khan or Ranbir Kapoor to become the brand ambassador of the festival. The organisers invested around eight months around the festival.

As per the sources, earlier the organiser had thought about just having Bollywood artistes performing. But later they decided to get the DJ performing with the singers. “One strong reason to have this dance music is to make it accessible to large masses with affordable tickets,” said sources.

This festival may have all Indian artistes and might go all over the world including places like Mumbai, London, Dubai and many such locations after Delhi gig.
