Music smartphone app for heart

MUMBAI: Soon we may get to listen to the music that our heart needs. Researchers in the US have designed a new ‘Musical Heart’ that enables smartphones to select music to get your heart pumping during workout. The biofeedback-based system developed by a University of Virginia graduate researcher helps smartphones select music that will help get their owners' heart pumping during exercise and slow it down when they want to cool down or relax.

Priyanka Chopra- first Indian celebrity on X Factor

MUMBAI: Following the success of her debut International single ‘In My City’ Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has become the first Indian celebrity to appear on American reality show- ‘X Factor’. The actor, who travels regularly to Los Angles to promote her single and new video, that has sold 1,00,000 copies, was sent a special invite to appear on the show, report said. Her single featuring Will.I.am was released on 13 September and a full fledged album is expected to follow early next year.

NEW DELHI: Unlike the enthusiasm seen during the auctions of 3G a couple of years earlier, the auction of telecom spectrum for 2G had a poor start getting no bidders who were pan India. The concentration appeared to be on select areas such as Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh (East), and there were no bidders for the key telecom circles of Delhi, Mumbai, Rajasthan and Karnataka at the end of the fourth round of auction which started at 0900 hrs.
