MUMBAI: The most celebrated Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam has turned out to be more of a peacemaker than singer on the sets of Sony Entertainment Televisions' 'Indian Idol'.

The singer who has returned to the reality property after a long hiatus along with Anu Malik and Farha Khan is usually seen sorting creative fights between the latter judges.

Sonu Nigam acts as the ‘peacemaker’ among the two, for which he has been given a tag ’Sej Sonu’ by Farah and Anu.

In the press conference of 'Indian Idol Season 9', Anu Malik said, “Sonu, Farah and I, have worked a lot together in film industry and thus we three have a good amount of understanding and warmth. Whenever there is stress between Farah and me, Sonu is the one to make us understand and so we have named him 'Sej Sonu’."

There is always that one person who balances the situation and in this case it is Sonu.
