Fazilpuria bags Mirchi Jubilee Award for 'Kar Gayi Chul'

MUMBAI: Haryanvi rapper and singer Fazilpuria wins Mirchi Jubilee Award in the category of best song of the year for 'Kar Gayi Chul' from the film 'Kapoor & Sons'.

The Mirchi Jubilee Awards which are organised by Radio Mirchi decides among the top-20 songs that have been around continuously since three months.

On winning the award, Fazilpuria explains his joy. He says, "I got a call from Mirchi that I was nominated for the Top 20 Mirchi Jubilee awards. And then, today, I got this award."

"I am feeling overwhelmed getting this honour. I have worked hard and this is the first ladder towards my success," adds the rapper.

He told us that 'Kar Gayi Chul' has taken a lot of his effort which he put in the year 2013. Music label- Sony Music bought the rights to the song and finally it was used in the film 'Kapoor & Sons'.

"One day I received a call from Sony where they said that director Karan Johar wants to use my song in his upcoming film. So, I got pretty happy about it. And now, I am receiving a recognition for it," speaks the singer.

Fazilpuria also told us about the difference in him then and now, before entering Bollywood. "I am quite tensed now as the responsibilities have increased. earlier I used to take it easy, but now it is like I have the pressure of beating the competition."

Fazilpuria is coming up with his new single on 17 August for T-Series which will be used for Sunny Leone's film.
