Demi Lovato announces new world tour with support from Christina Perri and MKTO

MUMBAI: It has not been too long since Demi Lovato wrapped up her 'Neon Lights Tour' and the singer has already announced a new one. On Thursday, the pop singer announced she will be kicking off a new tour later this year and has revealed the dates for the North American leg.

The tour, which is part of the 'DEMI World Tour' will kick off 6 June in Baltimore, after which it will travel to another 24 other cities including Miami, Kansas, Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Montreal, New Orleans, Louisville, amongst others.

Like her previous tour, on which she was joined by Fifth Harmony and Little Mix, Lovato will once again be accompanied by two artistes. 'Jar of Hearts' singer Christina Perri and 'Classic' duo MKTO will serve as support acts on the tour.

The 25-date tour across the US and Canada is being produced and promoted by live-events company- Live Nation. Pre-sale tickets will be available from Thursday, 5 May, and tickets for the general public will be available from Friday, 6 June.

Meanwhile, the 'Give Your Heart a Break' singer is celebrating the one-year anniversary of her fourth studio album 'Demi', which was released on 10 May 2013. She started up a social campaign called #DEMIVERSARY. She also recently released a track with Cheryl Lloyd- 'Really Don't Care'.
