Mithoon's 'Aashiqui 2' concert cancelled for May

MUMBAI: The 'Aashiqui 2' famed composer, Mithoon Sharma was all set to make his debut in the international concert circuit. However, the three city concert- 'Magic of Aashiqui 2', which was scheduled to begin in Bahrain on 16 May, 2014 has been reportedly cancelled.

A couple of sources confirmed to Radioandmusic.com about the same. “The Aashiqui 2 concerts have been cancelled as a couple of singers who are a part of the show have issues with the dates. One of the singers had a personal concert on 16 May in Dubai and the dates clashed with Mithoon's concert. Now the organisers are planning to postpone the concert to June, but that too is very indecisive,” stated a source.

The concert is organised by Rami Productions and for confirming the same, Radioandmusic.com got in touch with the managing director, Raheem Athavand, who said, "Yes we have postponed the concert as Arijit Singh will be having his show on 2 May, 2014 in Dubai and post that he would have issues with Visa. Thus we have postponed the concert to June at Abu Dhabi and 4 October in Dubai. We are yet to get a confirmation from the third venue."

Several singers including Roop Kumar Rathord, Mohammed Irfan, Arijit Singh, Palak Muchhal, Shilpa Rao were a part of the concert. The tentative venues of the show were Dubai, Muscat and Bahrain. The concerts were organised by Rami Productions Middle East.
