Indigo Live, Nikhil Chinapa and Rohit Barker brings Cirkus Indigo to 'fun, young Bangalore'

Summer is right upon us, breathing promises of fiery fun. Bangalore's one step ahead of the season providing, what will be, one of the coolest, experiences a calendar can boast of. What happens when you combine Nikhil Chinapa, Rohit Barker and Indigo 91.9, partner them up with Ark Events; all of whom, are on all systems go? You get dance music dynamite in the form of CIRKUS Indigo – a two-day dance music festival that'll bear witness to a cornucopia of international EDM stars, immersive 3D installations and brilliant, state-of-the-art stage and at Jayamahal Palace. Add the feisty, youthful, dance-happy population of Bangalore to the mix, and you have the recipe for the most memorable party in town.

On the anvil are 2011 Beatport's artist of the year Stafano Noferini, DJ and Producer Norman Doray and Italian House music sensations Daddy's Groove who will headline the festival. Besides them the festival will showcase Jack Beats, Rene Amesz, Justin Prime and Kid Kreme. Among the Indian artists are offcourse Dance Republic, Tuhin Mehta, DJ Ivan, Praveen Achary, Bangalore's own rising stars Shash &Chaz , Twokid Wickid and Tarun Papali.

Managing Director of Indigo 91.9, Sanjay Prabhu said "with the huge growth of EDM in popular music it was only befitting for Indigo, Nikhil and Rohit to get together and design something larger than life. Being the music capital of the country, it is Indigo's pride to present Bangalore city's first full scale EDM festival, Cirkus Indigo, in a class that the city truly deserves. Our team up with Nikhil and Rohit will result in the most comprehensive, integrated and engaging branding effort in the EDM space the country has witnessed"

Co-promoter of Circus Indigo, Nikhil Chinapa added, " I am pleased to lay the foundation for what will be a pivotal event for the music scene in Bangalore. The team of Indigo, Rohit and I, are all very passionate about our music and I believe our collective energy will be a formidable force, bringing Cirkus Indigo to life"

Nikhil Chinapa and Rohit Barker, the dynamic duo behind the "Dance Republic" signature, are co-promoters of the event and have invited some of their friends to the party. Those friends happen to be some of India's finest DJs, the seasoned Ivan, Tuhin Mehta and more.

Excited at hosting the festival Rohit Barker said "'I can't even begin to explain just how excited I am to bring Bangalore a festival that's done by Bangalore, for Bangalore. Nikhil Chinapa, Indigo 91.9 and I will give the dance music lovers of Bangalore a memory and a weekend that we promise will soon not be forgotten. See you on the beautiful lawns of Jayamahal Palace Hotel on the 1st and 2nd of March and remember to wear comfortable shoes."

With custom made installation of 3D elements across the stage and venue, festival goers will be transcended into an alternate reality. The Cirkus has been designed to entice the sensory appeal. With dedicated zones for various activities like flea markets, interactive gaming zones and a social networking zone among many other attractions.

Also on the anvil are a host of exciting activities that lead upto the festival. The festival will travel to the tech parks across Bangalore and run competitions where one can win free tickets and also buy if you don't win. One can also enjoy a Sunday brunch on the 2nd of March, hosted by Cirkus Indigo where you have the option to kick off the EDM madness post brunch and also enjoy an after party.

While season tickets are available at Rs 2500, single day tickets at Rs1750 for day 1 and Rs 2100 for day 2 are also available. One can also avail the season early entry ticket at 1900, where the holder of the ticket must enter before 4 pm on both days.
