MUMBAI - Following up from their previous single Easier back in March, Islandeer steamroll ahead with their latest track, A Time, set to be released on 1 December 2023.

With luscious synths, hooky guitar riffs and sweet harmonies, A Time tells the tale of being so captivated by someone else’s life, you lose all sense of time and space. The song lends itself to Islandeer’s new sound spanning the rest of their 5-song EP, set to be released in 2024.

With 2023 coming to an end just as quickly as it started, A Time bookends the fast pace of life with trying to hold a moment in time, if at all possible.

About Islandeer - Islandeer is a musical duo consisting of Michael Garcia and Christian Jansen. The two met in Singapore Polytechnic’s Music and Audio Technology course, and have been writing music together since 2018.

Following the release of their first single, “Momento” in 2019, the band has performed at local festivals such as Urban Ventures and LASALLE College of the Arts’ Rock and Indie Festival. The band continued releasing music and performing throughout 2019 and 2020, and in December 2020, the band released their highly anticipated debut album, “Islandeer”.

More recently, Islandeer was nominated for "Artist of The Year (Indie / Alternative Act)" and "Best New Artist" at the SCAPE* Youth Music Awards 2021, and have had TV performances on Mediacorp’s Channel 5 Production “In Your Living Room”, as well as featured in Alive and Kicking, a Snakeweed Studios initiative.

Islandeer are currently working on their latest project, a 5-song Indie Pop EP. Set to be released in 2024, the band have released two singles this year in lead up to the EP’s official release.
