MUMBAI: This Thursday, the world bowed down their head in front of the most selfless persona of humankind to express their small gratitude towards them and the Global Hospital, Parel, Mumbai shone a little brighter with the smiles of nurses shaking their legs to Bollywood music and jamming together while bucket drumming. The global COVID-19 pandemic has shown the critical role nurses play in keeping people healthy throughout their lives. On the occasion of International Nurses Day, to salute the selfless spirit of nurses, instructors from Furtados School of Music and Shiamak Dawar Dance Academy joined hands with Global Hospital to celebrate this special day.

This was their way of expressing gratitude for their selfless dedication to the patient's rehabilitation. Additionally, assist them in achieving a sense of mental relief.

Shiamak Davar, celebrated choreographer said, “I bow down to these nurses for keeping us safe and working relentlessly in these testing times. I am immensely thankful to every healthcare professional and I was honoured to know that my art helped them reduce their stress and has brought joy to their faces.”

Nurses were completely overwhelmed with the surprise planned for them, they were laughing, dancing, singing songs with their colleagues, and learning to play bucket drumming.
