IPL theme song with Salim-Sulaiman a great break- Raj Pandit

MUMBAI: Recently, Salim Merchant launched the official theme song for ninth edition of IPL (Indian Premiere League) at Salim-Sulaiman’s Santacruz studio in Mumbai along with singer Raj Pandit who lent his voice for the upbeat tune.

The motivational number talks about an ideal India standing in solidarity with happy and united faces. Commenting on the same, Salim Merchant said, “The true feeling of happiness is attained when you give happiness to others. ‘Ek India Happy Wala’ was one such incredible project which made us very happy spreading our happiness with others.”

“We usually put efforts in all our projects but when the word ‘India’ added to a song, more dedication and more hard-work is included from our sides,” added Salim.

The young sensation Raj Pandit has worked with the duo since a long time. Earlier in Bollywood, Raj crooned two songs composed by Salim-Sulaiman for the film Wedding Pullav (2015). Besides, his special rendition in Coke Studio, Season 4 for the Independence Day special ‘PeerManaawan Challiyaan’ was also with the music siblings.

On his compatibility with the brothers, Raj said, “Of course, it is a great break for me with the IPL theme song. I love working with Salim-Sulaiman and assist them for live concerts and as a music producer at their studio.
