MUMBAI: Kids who cannot dance, sing or cook but like to express and are spontaneous in their conversation then they have an opportunity to become a RJ, which will be given to them by ‘Dabur Honitus BIG Junior RJ’, the initiative of BIG FM.

This hunt is catering to kids within the age group of 6-14 years. “Children are highly observant and aware of their surroundings, spontaneous and quick to respond, enjoy talking to people, and do not have inhibitions. So it was imperative for Dabur Honitus to partner in this initiative to reach out to millions of Kids and their mothers,” said Dabur India Ltd category head – OTC business and Baby care business Anil V Kaushal.

Kaushal also added that the reach of radio especially BIG FM will help Dabur reach its existing and potential consumers.

The kids will be judged on parameters such as spontaneity, delivery and diction, smartness, general knowledge and RJing ability. BIG FM business head Ashwin Padmanabhan, said, "Children today are extremely smart and talkative and are a delight to hear on radio. This national campaign endeavours to not only encourage young talent but also promises to bring fresh and exciting content to our listeners."

This month long initiative will end on 25 December this year. A number of children across cities will be auditioned for the role and the winners will get a chance to host the shows on Christmas Day. The audition will take place in several schools in every city.
