Dylan to release 'entire official discography' box set collection

MUMBAI: Music legend Bob Dylan is set to release a super massive box set on 5 November titled ‘Bob Dylan Complete Album Collection Vol. One’ (Columbia and Legacy). The comprehensive album is being considered as the singer/ songwriter’s entire official discography and will feature 35 of Dylan’s studio albums. The set box will include albums right from his debut ‘Meet Bob Dylan’ (1962) to his most recent ‘Tempest’ (2012).

The collection will also contain a double disc album- ‘Side Tracks’ featuring non released album tracks, six live albums and a hardcover book that has album by album linear notes penned by Clinton Heylin. The set will be available in CD format.

The label will also be available according to Dylan’s decade-specific repertoire- with Dylan's 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s-2000s for sale in four respective box sets. Dylan's first eight albums, from Bob Dylan to John Wesley Harding, will also be separately available in mono as Bob Dylan – ‘The Original Mono Recordings’.

The Bob Dylan Complete Album Collection Vol One is set for release on 5 November, 2013 and Volume Two is scheduled to be released next year.
