94.3 Radio One launches Cricket Anthem sung by Shaan, Kailash Kher

* Go India Go to be launch pad of Radio One's cricket property Cricket Raaj MUMBAI:  94.3 Radio One and LIC of India launched a cricket anthem, Go India Go…!, to inspire the Indian cricket team on Wednesday in Mumbai. The anthem, composed by Leslie Lewis, written by Swanand Kirkire and sung by Shaan and Kailash Kher, is the launch pad for Cricket Raaj, Radio One's special cricket property. To find a title for the anthem, Radio One had put up graffiti walls in 25 malls across the country, and many people had suggested the name â€?Go India Go'.

38 Thousand Letters and Cards in Radio Misty exhibition

MUMBAI: Radio Misty 94.3 says it has received 38168 letters and beautiful handmade cards and paintings in 2010. These pertain to suggestions and requests made on its shows, and the station has displayed them in its Siliguri studios. Radio Misty will celebrate this success... with an exhibition in March with these letters, cards and paintings. The exhibition will be promoted with a 360-degree campaign.

Govt mulls 26% FDI for FM Radio

NEW DELHI: Private FM radio and Cable TV companies will be able to seek more foreign participation if the government's proposal for upping the foreign direct investment (FDI) sails through. The proposal for hiking FDI limit in the FM radio sector from 20 per cent to 26 per cent has been mooted in consultation with other ministries but is yet to be placed before the cabinet for approval, senior Information and Broadcasting Ministry sources told RadioAndMusic.com.
