38 Thousand Letters and Cards in Radio Misty exhibition

MUMBAI: Radio Misty 94.3 says it has received 38168 letters and beautiful handmade cards and paintings in 2010. These pertain to suggestions and requests made on its shows, and the station has displayed them in its Siliguri studios. Radio Misty will celebrate this success... with an exhibition in March with these letters, cards and paintings. The exhibition will be promoted with a 360-degree campaign.

Every three months, a survey amongst  listeners is conducted for show- and music- content by the station. After discussion, these suggestions are incorporated into programming  These initiatives to connect with listeners have generated a tremendous response,... according to a Company release, which quotes CEO Nishant Mittal as saying: It's a record for an fm station to receive 38,168 letters and cards in a year. Besides, we have also received thousands of gifts, mails, calls and sms-es each month. These letters and cards are our biggest assets,  and we have displayed selected letters, gifts and paintings in our studios. Radio Misty has brought back the magic of radio in this region. These letters give us the strength to be innovative and give a new look to our shows....

Radio Misty is the only FM station in the country to air shows and music in five languages namely, Hindi, Bengali, Nepali, English and Bhojpuri.
