Indian Idol contestant bags Salim's project

MUMBAI: Music composer and judge of music reality show, Indian Idol Salim Merchant has shortlisted a contestant from the show to sing for an upcoming project by the musical duo Salim- Suleiman. The composer who was in the Pinkcity to perform along with Indian Idol contestants Bhoomi Trivedi, Naushad, Rakesh, Swaroop Khan and Tia told PTI, I have chosen a contestant and discussed it with the production house, and will start shooting after this show, It does not matter where the contestant stands in the Indian Idol show....

Pritam to compose for Vidhu Vinod Chopra's next

MUMBAI: Known for his penchant for good music, filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra has now roped in music director Pritam to compose music for his next film �Ferrari Ki Sawari'. T-Series announces three new releases for the month end

MUMBAI: Music giant T-Series has acquired the audio rights of three new projects namely Anurag Kashyap's Udaan, Ekta Kapoor's multi starer Once Upon A Time in Mumbai and Akshay Kumar starer Khatta Meetha all of which are slated to release by June end. The music for Udaan has been composed by Amit Trivedi whereas both Khatta Meetha and Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai will see Pritam taking charge of the musical chords.
