Mothers Day! When singers spoke about their moms

MUMBAI: We all have tuned into to the famous songs of our singers, but very few have been vocal about their moms. So, on the occasion of Mothers Day, we got to know about some fabulous singers and the connection they share with their mom. Check out the article as they talk exclusively with Radioandmusic about their mothers, one of the key pillars of their life.

Amaal Mallik

My mom's constant support has played an invaluable role in my life and for what I have achieved today.  Being our constant companion, she taught us to fight harder during tough times, take up challenges without any fear and carve an identity for oneself. At the same time, she taught me to stay humble and grounded. I didn't know what success was but I realized I was successful when I saw my mom teary-eyed when I was receiving my Filmfare Award for Best Music Director. All my achievements are dedicated to her and this bond is unbreakable.

Jubin Nautiyal

My mom has always been my pillar of strength in thick and thin. She was the one who believed in me and kept me pushing harder. I have achieved everything with her guidance and pure soul. Her constant support has played an invaluable role in my life and what I have achieved today. I owe everything to my mom. She is the sun and moon to me. Tere Bina Dil Na Lage is one song I always dictate to my mom.

Neeti Mohan

I feel like celebrating Mothers Day every day as I can’t thank my mother enough for making me who I am. She has always given me unconditional love and support, be it in my personal or professional matters. In fact, she is the reason that I’m an artist today. On this Mothers Day, I want to tell the world and tell all the girls that be a compassionate woman as that will make you a good mother as a good mother makes an amazing family and a nation.

Meiyang Chang

To the superwoman in my life who's always got my back; whether it's to guide me on the right path or to kick my ass when I'm going astray, I love you every single day.

Tony Kakkar

My mom is one of the most important thing in my life, even more than music. I can even quit my music career for her. I just want to tell her that she is the best thing that has ever happened to me and whatever I’m today is because of her.

Arjun Kanungo

This Mother's Day I would like to thank my mom for all her support throughout. She has been my inspiration and my best and most honest critic when it comes to my music. When I write a song, the first thing that I do is ask my mom for her opinion about it! Wishing all the beautiful mother's out there a happy Mother's Day!
