Keerthi Sagathia and Subi Samuel team up for 'Dil Bhaara Nahi' for Valentine's Day

MUMBAI: 'Tum Tak' singer Keethi Sagathia has taken his first step towards independent music with single 'Dil Bhaara Nahi', which has been made for Valentine's Day. The video was released on 10 February, 2015 and is directed by Subi Samuel. The lyrics of the song are penned by Vipin Mishra, who Sagathia previously worked with on the song 'Jigra Fakira' for the film 'Aurangzeb'.

"Vipin and I have been friends for a long time and independent music is something that had been on our minds for a while now. In January he suggested coming up with a track for Valentine's Day, and we finally did it. I am really happy doing this because singing for films means you sing for a character, but here you sing for yourself and explore your creativity," opined Sagathia.

The song 'Dil Bhaaara Nahi' talks about love, loss and pain. The song features a girl and boy who have just had a fight and the girl decided to walk out of the relationship. She shuts the door on his face and says, "I will never see you again."On her way, she finds an elderly couple, who have also had an argument, and the man is trying to pacify the woman. This is when she changes her mind and turns around to go back to him, but meets an accident and loses her life.

According to the 'Sweety' singer pain is a part of love. Many people tend to look at the rosy side of love, but only few look at the pain. "The message of the video is 'Never say never', as you never know what you may say turns true, and this is what I actually believe in. You might say something very nasty to someone and if that thing turns true, then you might have to repent for the rest of your life," said director Subi Samuel. Shooting for the video took a week.
