I started young, but I was focused: Raghav Sachar

MUMBAI: Singer, composer, music director and multi-instrumentalist Raghav Sachar has joined the #Fame - 'HDFC Life YoungStars' bandwagon as a mentor and he is completely liking it. Sachar lives music day in and day out thus, adding another musical aspect to his already over-flowing bag did not need a second thought.

At the moment, the multi-instrumentalist is enjoying being in a mentor’s shoe more than ever because it does not require him to be in a studio like other reality shows. He can select the contestants online from his home or any part of the world for that matter.

“The show does not require a fixed schedule. All one needs is the internet. The kids send in their entries on the net and one has to select the best out of the lot,” explained Sachar.

The singer-composer further added that he is looking for children with an extra spark and some focus. “I was really young when I started as a musician, but I was focused. I was clear with my thoughts. I will be looking out for similar kids.”

Furthermore, the kids on ‘HDFC Life YoungStars’ might have a chance at featuring in the music director’s future projects. “I might use a young voice if a project requires it. But, while on the show I will be encouraging and appreciating them,” stated he.

Sachar currently working on the promotional song of 'Beiimaan Love' and 'Rustom.'
