MUMBAI: Known for songs like ‘Marjawan’ from the Bollywood film ‘Fashion’, and ‘Tujhe Bhula Diya’ from the Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer- ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, singer Shruti Pathak has rendered her vocals for the newly released ‘Tere Bin Nahi Rehna’. The track, which is from the film ‘Ishq Ne Krazy Kiya Re’, has music composed and written by the duo Tarun Rishi.

“As promised to my fans about new Bollywood tracks, I am here with one. Tarun and Rishi are very good friends of mine and they asked me to come and record the song (Tere Bin Nahi Rehna),” said Pathak. “Since the song is a romantic one, I was asked to give it an emotional feel, and we managed to record it in 45 minutes.”

Apart from Bollywood projects, Pathak’s YouTube channel- ‘The Guzzler Café’ is also keeping her busy, and she admitted that it has also helped her become more organised in terms of releasing singles. “Previously, I used to think of releasing my work, but would not find the time to do it. Now however, due to my channel I have to find time and work on the singles,” she added.

Pathak is very happy with the kind of responses she has been getting for her YouTube channel. Even before starting the channel or her band, she revealed that she was apprehensive that the concept might not work with people. “I feel God has been very kind with me and I am very happy with the kind of responses I have been getting. In the last episode of Guzzler Café, we had Harshdeep Kaur as our guest. People from the industry have also have liked my work,” she added.

The singer is currently preparing for her upcoming YouTube channel. Her next single will be much like her previous release- ‘Jhuke Jhuke Se Nazar’, which was a rendition of an old ghazal.
