Oppo launches new smart-phone with HotKnot

MUMBAI: Partnering with online retail firm Flipkart.com, Oppo, the Chinese manufacturer, has launched the Neo 3 budget smartphone in India.

The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) Oppo Neo 3 features a 4.5-inch display with a FWVGA (480×854 pixel) resolution. The phone also features a dual-core 1.3GHz processor runs the show and there is 1GB of RAM on board too. A 5-megapixel camera sits on the back along with an LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Oppo Neo 3 has a technology called HotKnot, which allows it to "share everything simply by touching another mobile screen with yours."

The phone has 4GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded via a microSD card up to 32GB. The Oppo Neo 3 comes with 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, OTG, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 2.1. It also packs in a 1900mAh battery, though Oppo has not mentioned any rated battery life.

The device is priced at Rs 10,990.
