Big Sound Factory announces production music library

MUMBAI: Big Sound Factory’s new production music library, aptly named ‘The Warehouse,’ hits the ground running with an initial release of twenty themed albums, where genres range from club-ready EDM hits to orchestral and world music. The company, founded as a partnership between English producer and composer Kirsten Price and production music industry veteran Jay Stollman, focuses on providing the creative resources to find flexible and authentic musical solutions within all budgetary and media parameters.

The pair, who first met while collaborating on material for Jingle Punks in 2008, brings a wealth of past experience to this new venture. Price has written and produced music for all major US TV networks as well as national and international commercial campaigns, while Stollman is a former partner of Kingsize Music (615 Music/Warner Chappell) and previously served as Managing Director of the Sony/ATV Production Music Library.

"Not only have we tapped into the talents of fresh, new artists, but we have also built a team with creativity, chemistry, foresight and enthusiasm for this industry. I’m very excited to bring this product to market," states Big Sound Factory Creative Director, Jay Stollman.

"Jay is an out of the box thinker who really understands the business of music. At Sony/ATV, his insight helped our company break into the production music business. His many years of production music experience combined with his long and impressive list of industry relationships was a huge asset to our company. Completely professional and a real pro," said Steven Storch, CFO, Imagem Music.
