Ranveer Singh's record label to promote more Murads

MUMBAI: The success of underdog character, Murad in the super successful Gully Boy has given hopes to undiscovered talent in nation. Ranveer Singh, who portrayed Murad on the screen, has taken a step to discover many such Murads in India by launching his own record label.  

Named InkInc, the label is formed in collaboration with music evangelist Navzar Eranee and has already announced launch of their first single and music video Zeher. They signed three new talents namelt Kaam Bhaari, SlowCheeta, and Spitfire. The actor shared recently about the new developments and how he is a fan of the three talents signed. He also shared that being an outsider himself; he understands the importance of a platform and wishes to give the same to new talent who are raring to go.  His partner Navzaar said, it is the concept of inclusive conversation that drove Ranveer and him to form this label.

The label is primarily focusing on hip-hop and rap form of music as these genres are burgeoning in India with immense upcoming talent.  The actor however said the in the coming time, they would explore more genres of music.

Ranveer has been active on social media to promote the new label with keywords like Inquilab, Inclusive and Independent. Extending support to the new venture launched by her husband, wifey and superstar actress Deepika Padukone commented on the post by Ranveer on Instagram and said how proud she is of him for his new step. Murad’s best friend and rockstar rapper Samsher, played by Siddhant Chaturvedi also commented on the photo saying, “Smash it.”

Well, with the launch of InkInc, Ranveer Singh has opened doors of opportunities for rappers and hip-hop artists in India.
