MUMBAI: 'Kapoor & Sons' team is rolling out one song after another and while 'Kar Gai Chull' has managed to create a cult status for its self and 'Bolna' is catching slowly in spite of having a beautiful rendition the third song comes as a shocker, in a bad way.

'Buddhu Sa Mann' a song packaged as the elder most Kapoor's birthday celebration party song does not serve the purpose. It sounds like yet another party song made for some friends partying together. We understand that the makers want to portray the old man as someone who is still young at heart and he almost starts drooling on seeing hot female cardboard cut-outs. But, even then the song fails to impress one.

One of the main reasons for us finding it hard to like it, is its music. Music composer Amaal Mallik seems to have taken the safe path by using the tunes that have worked for him earlier. Thus, the rendition reminds us of Amaal's earlier tracks. The other Malik with a single 'L' too does not serve anything new to the listeners with his voice. The song has been sung by both Armaan and Amaal.

Abhiruchi Chand's lyrics are just fine but it does not stay back with you. Neither does the look and feel of the music video. People jumping around young-at-heart yet on-wheelchair-grandfather does not make for a great video.
