Justin Beiber's newest album 'Purpose' to release this Friday

MUMBAI: Justin Bieber’s fourth studio album, ‘Purpose’, is set to hit stores this Friday. Purpose is due out on 13 November, 2015. It has been preceded by the singles ‘What Do You Mean?’ and ‘Sorry’ which have peaked at number one and two on Billboard Hot 100 respectively. On 22 October, 2015, Justin Bieber’s single ‘Sorry’ was premiered on radio. Sorry was the second single after ‘What Do You Mean?’ to emerge from the album. The newest track to surface online titled ‘Bigger Than Life’ features sample of Chris Brown, ‘Tyga’, ‘Birdman’ and Lil Wayne’s ‘Rich Gang’ song of the same title.

‘What Do You Mean’ was crowned Justin’s first #1 on Billboard’s all-format airplay/sales/streaming-based Hot 100 the week of its release, selling over 335,000 units digitally in the U.S. that week. The song also went to #1 in Justin’s native Canada, and became his first #1 UK national chart hit. “What Do You Mean” officially earned Justin his first #1 on Billboard’s Top 40 radio-based Pop Songs airplay chart, with over 135 million in audience. The song, which hit #1 at iTunes within five minutes of its release, and reached #1 at iTunes in more than 90 countries, went on to easily break the Weekly Global Spotify streaming record with over 41 million streams, reaching 100 million Global streams in less than one month out. It has already surpassed the 167 million mark.

To add to the excitement, Derek Zoolander is promoting Justin’s new album. In a hilarious video, Ben Stiller in his infamous Zoolander avatar is excited about the new album and can be seen wearing a neon blue suit, saying, “When my good friend Justin Bieber asked me to promote his album, purpose, I said ‘of course,’ because I want more Instagram followers.

With two tracks already topping charts, ‘Purpose’ is set to sizzle this Friday (13 November, 2015).
