MUMBAI: Almost a week ago, Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo, creator of Italian electro house and dance-punk formation- The Bloody Beetroots, announced on Facebook that, he will now focus on his new project SBCR (Satan Bass City Rockers). SBCR released its first record called ‘SBCR & Friends, Volume One – EP' last month through Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Records. Rifo exclusively revealed to Radioandmusic.com that there would two more volumes in the ‘SBCR & Friends' series that Rifo will release later in 2015.

"'SBCR & Friends Volume Two' will be out in July, and ‘SBCR & Friends Volume Three' should be out in October," revealed Rifo. However, when asked whether he had any plans for an album, Rifo said, "An SBCR album might be something to work on in 2016, you never know."

Through SBCR, Rifo plans to releases dance floor-driven productions, unlike The Bloody Beetroots which was more eclectic, rock-influenced and electronic. Rifo had previously stated on Facebook, "Just to clarify, I never said that ‘The Bloody Beetroots' was over! NO WAY! All I am saying is that I will take a little time to make NEW MUSIC and it is going to come out as SBCR! It is not an end but a new beginning."

In ‘SBCR & Friends, Volume One – EP', five out of the six tracks are collaborations. When asked about those, Rifo said, "I am working with a great variety of well-known artists, but I also like to discover new unknown acts and work with them on my music – it helps me keep my productions fresh and it is always good to start again from scratch."

Rifo also revealed that like ‘SBCR & Friends, Volume One – EP', all the other SBCR records will be released under Dim Mak Records. "Now all of the new SBCR music is going to come out with Dim Mak - my very first record label from 2008 – They are like family and Steve Aoki and I wanted to go back to the roots somehow," he added.
