Shaggy plans debut three-city India tour in October

MUMBAI: This month, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru will groove to ‘Hey Sexy Lady’, ‘Mr. Boombastic’ and ‘It Wasn’t Me’ with the acclaimed composer Shaggy himself.  Only Much Louder’s ticketing platform Insider.in provided the details to the multi-city tour that begins in Mumbai on Oct 21.

Brought by KCT Entertainment, the three-city tour becomes Shaggy’s debut tour in India. The songwriter earlier performed at the opening ceremony of Champions League T20 in Bengaluru, seven years ago. The 47-year-old recently released his latest single ‘That Love’, but the fans who grew up listening to the Grammy winner must surely look forward to the classics that catapulted him to fame and worldwide popularity.  

In fact, Shaggy will be celebrating his birthday with a performance in Pune on Oct 22. The singer will turn 48, making his debut tour further special for the fans and the artist.

The celebrated Jamaican rapper will begin the tour in Mumbai with a performance at Phoenix Market City on Oct 21. The tickets for the Mumbai performance range from Rs. 999 to Rs. 2000. The Mumbai performance will be followed by another Phoenix Market City hosted performance in Pune on Oct 22. The rapper will end the debut India tour with concluding performance in Goa’s Peddem Indoor Stadium on Oct 23. The Mumbai and Pune gigs will begin at 6.30 p.m., whereas the Goa gig opens at 6 p.m.

Each concert ticket would range from Rs. 999 to Rs. 2000. Tickets can be bought on www.insider.in.
