Pritam's inspirations from around the world

MUMBAI: Pritam, who has given numerous Bollywood hits, needs no introduction. He has won multiple awards for his compositions and is hailed as one of India's best music directors. Many of his songs, from 'Dhoom Machale' and 'Ya Ali' to 'Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai' and 'Balam Pichkari' are some of the biggest hits of Indian cinema that a billion Indians have hummed to.

However, the music director who turns a year older today, in his initial industry days, lifted up tunes from existing songs, unknowingly. Pritam has also admitted to the same in past and also clarified his stand by stating that he was too naive to have followed the producers instructions. But, in 2008 he decided to only create original scores and then on, there has been no looking back for this music composer.
