MUMBAI: In Week 17 of RAM ratings, BIG FM rose to the second position from fourth in Mumbai. It recorded 13.0 share per cent and 5.49 T.S.L. respectively.
A spokesperson from BIG FM commented on their shows and its ratings, “At BIG FM, we are not only about entertainment but have evolved into a brand with a purpose. Our re-launch strategy was in line with our philosophy of playing a meaningful, relevant and compelling role in the lives of our listeners. The ratings are a testament to our success and the amount of appreciation we are receiving from our audience. As a radio network, we have always believed in creating quality content to set milestones. We aim to keep going forward with the same passion and determination.”
BIG FM RJs were not behind when it came to sharing their excitement on their shows getting a good response.
Celeb RJ Vrajesh Hirjee exclaimed, “As an artist, I have always tried to push my boundaries in order to connect with my audience. That’s exactly what I have tried to do as an RJ as well. I have really been able to pull this off with the kind of freedom BIG FM offers me, that allows me to engage with listeners via this show on various topics pertaining to the city. The kind of love and support my show Mumbai Maska Maar Ke has received so far is simply amazing. I am really enjoying this phase of my life as an RJ and I hope to continue entertaining listeners in the best manner.”
RJ Abhilash also spoke about the response his show has received, “I have recently joined BIG FM. It’s a great brand to work with and I am thoroughly enjoying hosting the show Mumbai Ka Sabse Bada Struggler. I am very happy with the huge fan following that the show has earned in such a short period of time. I am really motivated and look forward to entertaining more and more listeners.”
When it comes to other radio stations, Fever FM continued to top in Mumbai and Delhi with 18.6 and 19.7 share per cents and 7.01 and 5.17 T.S.L.s respectively. It stood second in Kolkata with 18.5 share per cent and 6.43 T.S.L. while it bagged fourth place in Bengaluru with 15.1 share per cent and 8.13 T.S.L. respectively.
Radio City stood first in Bengaluru with 23.8 share per cent and 9.17 T.S.L. While it stood second in Delhi with 13.7 share per cent and 4.07 T.S.L., the radio station scored third place in Mumbai with 13.0 share per cent and 5.02 T.S.L. But, Radio City, as usual, didn’t make it to the top 10 in Kolkata.
Another popular radio station Radio Mirchi stood first in Kolkata with 18.9 share per cent and 4.35 T.S.L. It stood third in Bengaluru with 16.7 share per cent and 6.51 T.S.L. respectively. But, in Mumbai and Delhi, the radio station had to settle at fourth position with 13.0 and 11.9 share per cents and 4.19 and 3.23 T.S.L.s respectively.
