Paolo Nutini says he would be better at managing United than Moyes

MUMBAI: Scottish singer Paolo Nutini reckons he could do better at managing English football team Manchester United than his fellow Scot David Moyes. The 'Rewind' singer is busy playing the Championship Manager video game, in which he is doing considerably well.

Referring to his game playing, Nutini said that he was currently in the depths of the season. In an attempt to sharpen his managerial skills the 27 year old said that he would have to take on the challenge of the Manchester United manager. He added that if he was given charge of United, he would try to win games.

However, Nutini also defended Moyes, who has had a rather stressful first season at United and admitted that he really liked him. The singer thinks the former Everton boss is a fantastic manager, but he got a tough job at United, as he has been given an "ageing" team.

Earlier this week, Nutini released his third album 'Caustic Love' which is likely to take the number one spot on the UK charts. The album received fairly good ratings and has sold over 59,000 copies so far. It is estimated that by the end of the week his latest release could take the top spot on the UK charts and knock over current number one holders- The Kaiser Chiefs, who have held the position for two consecutive weeks. The numbers also indicate that Nutini's 'Caustic Love' could become 2014's fastest selling artist album so far.
