I'm grateful for Amitabh sir's blessings says singer Tochi Raina

MUMBAI: Singer-composer Tochi Raina says his track “Do Din Ka Mela” reflects the life of a common man in the digital film "Gulabo Sitabo".

There’s a line in “Do Din Ka Mela” which says “Maati Ka bartan hai pyaare, hai matte me mil jana hai" which is very relatable. This is not just a song, for me it's a whole film”, shared

On his experience of working with Ayushmannn and Amitabh Bachchan, “Amitabh sir is a blessing in itself, everyone wants to work with him and get his blessings. The singer has worked with many big Bollywood movies, but he says that nothing was challenging nor does he like to be a part of it. After spending 25-30 years with his teachers (Gurus), he has come a long way, so he’s more focused on his vision. “When I became a part of a film, I tried to put down the experience that I have gained in my life, gave my 1000% and put all my energies in the right path. I believe this is what makes my songs sound different” he adds.

The singer has his own YouTube channel called “Band Of Bandagi” where he talks about his journey and philosophy. He’s planning to release not just one but, 12 songs this year. He has also won the GiMA Award for Best Duet.

“I think everyone should pause and think about why the Almighty put us in a situation where all of us are locked in our houses. I believe it is because we all got so busy in our lives that we forgot to take care of our mother earth. This is HIS way of teaching us a lesson and reminding us to co-exist whilst living our lives. Stay you, stay true and be positive. Positivity wins” Tochi concluded.
