MUMBAI: Ram Shankar who is known for his compositions in the movies like Haseena Maan Jaayegi has come up with his new single called Jind Mereya.

The song Jind Mereya is a romantic emotional song which is dedicated to the Indian Army. The video of the song features the dreams, aspirations and struggles of an Indian Army Officer.

The song was launched on 26 September 2017 in Hotel Juhu Plaza in Mumbai.

At the launch of the event, the enlivened composer said, “The song is a blend of melody and romance. The music of the song assails your senses, claiming the mind in one magnificent sweep of transcend sound.”

The song was launched by Aur Ahista singer Pankaj Udhas, along with him the other guests who were present at the occasion were Singer Padma Wadkar, Mela famed actor Faisal Khan, Comedian Raju Srivastav, Director of Venus Worldwide Entertainment Champak Jain, Actress Smita Gondkar, Bengali Singer Mouu Mekherrji.

The song Jind Mereya is sung, composed and directed by Ram Shankar and penned by Nishi Malhotra.

Ram Shankar is currently seen as one among the juries of Zee TV’s singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs 2017.
