Mirchi widens lead margin in Kolkata

MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi slipped slightly in Bangalore and Delhi in week 50 according to RAM data, but made up by widening the gap between itself and Big FM in Kolkata. As the year drew to a close, however, status quo in the metros as regards relative positions.

Bangalore: Big FM gained 0.1 points to end the week with a market share of 19.7 per cent, while Mirchi slipped 0.2 points to end with a share of 17.6 per cent. Fever that came in third climbed 0.4 points to end with a share of 15.8 per cent. Radio City lost 0.4 points to end fourth with a share of 12.4 per cent.

Delhi:
Mirchi lost 0.1 points in the capital too to end the week with a share of 24.8 per cent, stil ahead of Fever which lost 0.4 percentage points to end with a share of 17.4 per cent. The station had to share the second spot with AIR FM Gold which gained one point during the week. Red FM was a poor fourth, climbing 0.1 points to end with a share of 9.7 per cent.

Kolkata: Mirchi was the gainer here with a share of 20.7 per cent, having gained 0.3 points. Big FM lost one point to end second with a share of 16.4 per cent, and Friends climbed 0.5 points to end with a share of 14.9 per cent. Aamar too lost 0.3 points to end with a share of 10.1 per cent.

Mumbai: Mirchi managed to stay ahead of Red FM in Mumbai with an unchanged share of 17.1 per cent, while Red FM lost 0.4 points to end with a share of 15.2 per cent. AIR FM Gold came in third with a share of 12.7 per cent, having gained 0.5 points. Big FM came in fourth with a share of 12.2 per cent, having lost 0.5 points.
