Training slated for FM Phase III second phase applicants

NEW DELHI: Applicant companies for the second batch of FM Phase III will received training from the e-auctioneer and auction adviser, M/s C1 India Pvt Ltd.

The training will be held on 14 October at the Video Conference Hall at the National Media Centre in the capital.

This will be a full-day training commencing at 9:30 am.

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry had in id-August made clear the ownership details of 25 applicants for the e-auction of Second Batch of Private FM Radio Phase-Ill Channels, and made it clear that “Publication of this list in no way implies that the applications will be pre-qualified merely on submission of the ownership compliance certificate”.

The application of Agrani Homes Pvt. Ltd. was rejected as it has failed to comply with the requirements of clause 5.2.3.1 and 5.2.4.4 of the Notice Inviting Applications of 20 June 2016.

It said duly executed ownership compliance certificate must be submitted in hard copy before 5.00 pm on 22 August 2016 during office hours in the office of the Deputy Secretary (FM).

These details are as submitted by the Applicants, the Ministry said, adding that it had not verified the accuracy of the information.

However, the Government said it reserved the right to summarily reject Applications in case of discrepancies between the copies and the Original.

While notifying the training schedule, the Ministry reiterated that the applications are still being reviewed and issue of the Notice in no way implied that the applications will be pre-qualified merely on participation
