NCPA presents Western Music Recital on Tuesday, 17th - 7.00 pm at the Experimental Theatre

MUMBAI: Dmitri Ivanov, a student of the renowned Dutch violinist and Jasha Heifetz pupil, Christiaan Bor is in his graduating year studying with Benzion Shamir. In 2006, he won a third prize during the Princess Christina Concourse in Rotterdam.

Svjatoslav Presnyakov was born in Chernigov, Ukraine is due to finish his master's degree this year. He has won several prizes including one which gave him a recital at Carnegie Recital Hall. In 2006, he participated in a TV-Documentary Young musicians on their way to the stage. Svjatoslav has given concerts all over the world and the teachers who have influenced him most include Jan Wijn, Martino Tirimo, John Bingham, Pascal Devoyon, Naum Grubert, Boris Petrushanky and Mila Baslawskaja.

Beethoven: Fantasie Op. 77 for Piano solo; Sonata Op. 30 No. 2 in C minor for Piano and Violin

Wieniawski: Polonaise Brillante Op. 22 for Violin and Piano

Rachmaninoff: Variations on a theme of Corelli Op. 42 for solo Piano

Tchaikovsky: Souvenir d'un lieu cher Op. 42
