Aigo rolls out digital products in India

MUMBAI:Chinese manufacturer Aigo has announced the launch of its range of digital and self-assembling products in India.

The product portfolio consists of digital audio players, MP3 players, omnispheres, portable and a wide array of speakers, digital video players, digital mobile TVs, TV mates, digital frames, storage devices, USBs, flash, digital cameras, internet compatible devices, MP6 online streaming players and solar chargers.

Aigo, a brand of Huaqi Information Digital Technology Co, is marketed in India by Hyderabad-based Jay Bee Electronics.

Jay Bee Electronics managing director Murali Barathwaj says, We see an immense potential and a huge market in India because the products cater to each and every Indian consumer, whether a corporate individual or a student who is fond of music and movies....

Aigo F020 is an MP3 player cum voice recorder is also loaded with analog watch. It is equipped with 4 EQ presets and comes with a USB cable that's neatly embedded into the strap, and bundled earphones. The player battery is independent of the watch, so users don't have to worry about time slowing down. The device is available in 512MB capacity and costs Rs 4150. The watch has been designed by watch maker Citizen.

Aigo F566 is glares manufactured by Oakley. They have an inbuilt MP3 player with a storage capacity of 1GB. The F566 also has an inbuilt voice recorder. The 1GB model is priced Rs 4000.

Aigo A208 is a flash-based MP3 player with a built-in USB connector. It also has a blue backlit LDC display, FM radio, voice recorder and five EQ presets. It runs on a single AAA battery and boasts up to 10 hours' battery life. The 1GB model is available for Rs 3000.

Aigo which has its presence in the US, Asia and Europe, was the official sponsor of the 2008 Beijing Olympics as well as associated with Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team as the corporate sponsor for Formula 1 racing.
