Bengaluru records highest TSL compared to other cities

MUMBAI: According to latest RAM report for Week 42, Radio City in Bengaluru, recorded a double digit TSL of 10.29, with a market share of 22.1 per cent and TARP of 2.8, which once again made it the leading radio station in the city. Big FM took second spot with a market share of 20.8 per cent, TSL of 8.35 and TARP of 2.6 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi in third position, registering a market share of 16.6 per cent, TARP of 2.1 per cent and TSL of 7.52. With a market share of 13.6 per cent, TARP of 1.7 per cent and TSL of 8.28, Fever FM came in fourth. ‘Big Coffee - RJ Shruti’ on Big FM was the number one show in the city, followed by Radio City’s ‘City Mathu - RJ Rachna’ and Radio Mirchi’s ‘Hi Bengaluru - RJ Smitha’ in second and third, respectively.

In Mumbai, Big FM remained the leading radio station with a market share of 17.7 per cent, TSL of 6.25 and TARP of 1.3 per cent. Radio City took second position with a market share of 17 per cent, TSL of 5.24 and TARP of 1.2 per cent. Fever FM was placed at number three with a market share of 15.2 per cent, TSL of 7.05 and TARP of 1.1 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi, which had a market share of 13.6 per cent, TSL of 4.26 and TARP of 1 per cent. Red FM took fifth place with a market share of 10.2 per cent, TSL of 4.05 and TARP of 0.7 per cent. Big FM’s ‘Suhana Safar with Anu Kapoor’, Radio City’s ‘Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi - RJ Gaurav’ and Big FM’s ‘Breakfast Show - RJ Siddharth’ were the top three shows in Mumbai.

In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi was the leading station with a market share of 20.4 per cent, TSL of 4.47 and TARP of 1.7 per cent. Big FM took second spot registering a market share of 14.7 per cent, TSL of 4.47 and TARP of 1.7 per cent. It was followed by Fever FM in third place, with the market share of 14.4 per cent, TSL of 5.32 and TARP of 1.2 per cent, and Aamar FM in fourth with a market share of 10.1 per cent, TSL of 4.01 and TARP of 0.8 per cent. Two Radio Mirchi shows- ‘Kaali Kotha - RJ Jaganath’ and ‘Breakfast Show - RJ Mir’ took the first and second spots, respectively, and were followed by Big FM’s ‘Breakfast Show - RJ Khas Koushik’ in third.

In Delhi, Fever FM registered a market share of 20.4 per cent, TSL of 4.44 and TARP of 1.5, making it the top station in the city. Radio Mirchi came in second with a market share 14.2 per cent, TSL of 3.41 and TARP of 1 per cent. Radio City was next with a market share of 12.2 per cent, 3.35 TSL and TARP of 0.9 per cent, and it was followed by Big FM in fourth place with a market share of 12.1 per cent, TSL of 3.4 and TARP of 0.9. Meanwhile, Red FM took the fifth spot with a market share of 12.1 per cent, TSL of 3.4 and TARP of 0.9 per cent. All top three shows in the capital belonged to Fever FM- ‘Full on Punjabi - RJ Avinash’, ‘Evening Drive-Nitin’ and ‘Dilli ke Do Dabang-Manu and Abhilash’.
