'9XM Studio Leaks' to launch with specially created videos for 'Tamasha'

MUMBAI: Indian music channel 9XM will see an interesting addition to its programming line-up with ‘9XM Studio Leaks’. The show will feature music videos created by the 9X team, with the help of behind the scene footage, images and graphics. The first presentation will be songs from the Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Tamasha’.

The channel, which is also the music partner for the film, has be given exclusive rights to play four ‘Tamasha’ tracks – ‘Matargashti’, ‘Heer Toh Badi Sad Hai’, ‘Tum Saath Ho’, and ‘Wat Wat Wat’ on the channel. Special videos for these tracks have been created under this partnership, and these will be played on ‘9XM Studio Leaks’. The show premiers on 16 October, 2015.

9XM and 9X Tashan cluster head programming Baljinder Mahant said, “We are happy to start ‘9XM Studio Leaks’ with a big banner film like ‘Tamasha’. We will continue with this property in the future.”

From 12th to 15th October, 2015, 9XM was airing the audio versions of these songs, exclusively on its show ‘9XM Soundtracks’. “We did it to create a pre-hype for the songs before their release on other platforms. We are looking at doing similar promotional projects with many more films,” stated Mahant.

‘9XM Studio Leaks’ will air on 16 October 2015, throughout the day, at an interval of 30 minutes to an hour.
