Raavan's audio launch set for 24 April

Radio One gets Hrishikesh to host morning slot

Hindustani vocalist Dr Chandrashekhar Rele no more

MUMBAI: A lawyer by profession, and a veteran Khayal music exponent, Dr Chandrashekhar  Rele passed away today in Mumbai. He was 82. Dr. Rele was a teacher, composer and a singer who studied vocal music with the legendary Kumar Gandharva. He took up music after his retirement from active law practice and devoted himself to composing music in the Khayal and teaching disciples in Mumbai.

MUMBAI: Whether Ram Gopal Varma succeeds to scare audiences with his latest offering is questionable but they are sure going to turn panicky after giving the background music an ear  RGV's films are known for their background score but the backdrop in this one composed by newbies Dharam and Sandeep are sure to damage your ear drums. They are highly dramatic dominating the actors but still fail to play any role in the narrative. Although it does manage to mount suspense in bits and parts, it falls flat at most places
