Industry will be taken into full confidence while framing media policies; I&B Minister Manish Tewari

No support for musical theatre: Sharon Prabhakar

MUMBAI: Musical broadways and plays can only be revived if an infrastructure for theatre is in place, multi-talented singer-actress Sharon Prabhakar said. Bon Jovi set for a busy year

MUMBAI: American hard rock band Bon Jovi is gearing up for a busy year with his new album to release in March followed by a worldwide tour in support of it. The band’s year has started on a high note with its official video of its single ‘Because We Can’ (released on 29 January) has already received more than 4,50,000 views on YouTube in less than a week. The video, directed by Fisher Stevens, features the band performing at a boxing match, and at a strip club.

Lady Gaga, MJ lose view accounts in YouTube cleanup

MUMBAI: A host of pop stars have suffered a huge cut in the number of views on video sharing site YouTube. Following an audit conducted by YouTube to clear any old videos, over 2 billion views were wiped out. Lady Gaga saw her official YouTube account reduced by 156 million views. Other big label artists who suffered the wipeout included Michael Jackson, Chris Brown and Beyonce.  A large amount of ‘dead’ videos- clipped that are no longer viewed or used by the artists- have also been removed.
